The Ferrari Purosangue Tops The List For Most Anticipated Car Hitting The Roads This Year

Recently, a research study was ran and analysed over 50 cars upcoming in 2023 to see which vehicle tops the list for monthly searches. The Purosangue was the clear winner with 12,100 average monthly searches (a 410% increase since last year) and a good 2,000 extra searches clear of another SUV in 2nd place, the BMW XM.

Although the Purosangue looks like an SUV, Ferrari insists it isn’t, claiming they have created a ‘four door sports car’ which also happens to seat four people and have off road capability. Either way, SUVs made up 50% of the top 40 most anticipated new cars set for release this year with the Alfa Romeo Tonale, Maserati Grecale and Kia EV9 also making the top 10. It seems like the trends follow with SUVs continually being the first choice for people shopping for cars.

BMW came out on top in the battle of the brands with 5 models in the top 40 (XM, M3 Touring, i5, M2 and the 2023 BMW M5) pipping Land Rover (4 models) to first place. With recent models, BMW has been performing very well out of the German brands, with the XM being the most anticipated BMW SUV on that list.

The list was made up of exactly 50% (20/40) electric or hybrid cars with the aforementioned BMW XM, Alfa Romeo Tonale, Maserati Grecale, BMW i5 & Kia EV9 all making the top 10.
